Advantages and disadvantages for universitary students of living on a flat

To begin with, I must say that I'm in my first university course and I'm living in a students housing but I'll live on a flat for the next university courses.

On the one hand if you live on a flat you will be able to do almost whatever you want, like parties and meeting lots of friends and you can eat whatever you want.
From my point of view, the most important reason to live on a flat is that it's cheapper and you can spend more money on going out or buying clothes, for instance.

On the other hand, living on a flat with other people could be a little bit dificult because of the cohabitation, problems with the distribution of the housework.
In addition, it is less comfortable for you because you have to cook and do the houseworking losing a lot of  your studying time.

To sum up I must say that living on a flat isn't a bad choice but I recommend students to live in a students housing at least on the first course of university because everything's new and it would be more comfortable for them to support your studies on a nice way.
